The pink pyramids of Tsarevets village

Just a ten-minute drive from Kardzhali, you will find a place that looks like it came from another planet. The pink pyramids near the village of Tsarevets impress with their bizarre shapes and delicate pink hue, which changes its shade depending on the sunlight.

After leaving your car, you will have a short walk—about five minutes on a wide cart track. And then the rock pyramids rise up before you, towering above the greenery of the surrounding hills. The wind and rain have shaped the sand formations into unique figures, turning the place into a veritable natural gallery.

Here, one feels as if on the border between reality and fantasy – the colors and unusual shapes create a sense of mystical harmony. The pink pyramids are beautiful.
