Many of the beauties of the 27-kilometer-long reservoir can only be reached by water. Right at the start of your journey, you’ll see “The Island” – a lovely hidden gem waiting to be discovered by you. Romantic and charming, the island is also a unique open-air mini balneotherapy center, thanks to its exceptionally beneficial healing clay. It will nourish your face, hair, and body in a truly miraculous way! After this island delight, you’ll encounter breathtaking views that are hard to put into words. The boat ride can take you all the way to the end of the reservoir, where the Arda River flows into it.

You’ll enjoy magnificent nature – both flora and fauna – with species that can only be seen here, in the Eastern Rhodope Mountains. The rental price for a motorboat with a captain is 70 leva per hour.
